Nature Poem

The sun shimmers across the silky sea.
What a spectacular sight to see.
As a roaring river rushes through rural land.
Raging ravens rile and rant.

Moving mountains mounted meticulously.
Making monkeys mumble massive mistakes.
As shivering snow swirled swiftly.
Constantly covering crevasses completely.

Behold beauty bound by no barriers.
Wind whisking and whispering worries away.
Sing sweet songs of solitude today.
Making melodies more merrier like Christmas day.

  1. You put this together well. To me, it almost seems like a song. You definitely used alliteration and I like the way you played w language through the whole thing.

I think the first 2 lines of the final stanza are my favorites though I also had fun picturing the monkeys.//LM
